Après dix ans de vie commune, l’acteur vedette de la série How I Met Your Mother, Neil Patrick Harris, 41 ans, et son compagnon David Burtka, 39 ans, se sont dit “OUI” le 6 septembre dernier en Italie.

La nouvelle officialisée, Neil Patrick Harris s’est ensuite empressé de faire part de son bonheur sur les réseaux sociaux, avec une photo prise au crépuscule pendant leurs échanges de vœux.

Rappelons que les deux hommes sont également les heureux papas d’adorables jumeaux : Gideon Scott et Harper Grace, âgés de 4 ans.

Confirmed Harris on Twitter: “Guess what? David Burtka and I got married over the weekend. In Italy. Yup, we put the ‘n’ and ‘d’ in ‘husband.’ “

Wearing custom Tom Ford tuxedos, the How I Met Your Mother star, 41, and Burtka, 39, wed with close friend and mentor Pam Fryman, the longtime director of How I Met Your Mother, officiating.

Also taking part in the celebration were the couple’s fraternal twins, Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, 3½.

One highlight of the festive evening was a special performance at the reception by Sir Elton John.

The couple were thrilled in 2011 when New York legalized gay marriage and paved the way for their eventual nuptials.
