“Nous nous aimons tellement… Lance est une personne extraordinaire, il me rend heureux… je ne pouvais pas imaginer me réveiller à côté d’un autre,” a déclaré l’élu.
On s’en souvient du groupe NSYNC… avec Justin Timberlake, célèbre “boys band” des années 1990, ayant même réussi à concurrencer les Backstreet Boys ?! En 2002 et quelques 50 millions d’albums vendus, ils se sont séparés par “manque de motivation”. Mais dans la formation, il y avait également JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick et, Lance Bass, qui avait d’ailleurs annonçait son homosexualité en 2006.
L’année dernière, après deux ans de vie commune et pour la deuxième fois, il demandait officiellement la main de son compagnon, avant de pouvoir enfin poster sur les réseaux cette fameuse photo de la bague au doigt : “Il a dit OUI !! J’aime cet homme.”
Promesses ainsi tenues pour la Saint-Valentin 2015. Mais… l’amour démange et la date est révisée. Et, ce samedi 20 décembre, confirmé sur E! Entertainment Television, qui a suivi le couple pendant toutes les préparations, Lance Bass et Michael Turchin ont ainsi échangé leur vœux au “Park Plaza Hotel” de Los Angeles, entourés de leurs proches, familles et membres du groupe, à l’exception de Justin.
Toujours, selon la chaîne de télévision américaine, qui prévoit d’ailleurs la diffusion en février 2015 d’un reportage de 90 mn sur les coulisses de leurs noces, le premier aux États-Unis entre deux hommes célèbres, l’ambiance était très “chevaleresque” : “C’est sans doute parce que mon nom, Lance… Lancelot,” a expliqué le jeune marié, “mais je suis très attaché à ce concept des grandes célébrations médiévales, de la loyauté…”
Félicitations donc à ce couple heureux à qui nous souhaitons le meilleur 🙂

The happy couple exchanged vows at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, CA surrounded by family and friends including Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez. JC took on an extremely special role, alongside Kristin Chenoweth, by singing for Lance and Michael’s first dance as a married couple. The beautiful day was officiated by close friends, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher, which Lance referred to as “the easiest call of the whole wedding.”
The E! cameras were with the happy couple from the very beginning and you can experience a behind-the-scenes look at their one-of-a-kind love story and historical wedding in a 90-minute E! special airing February 5 at 8:00pm ET/PT, Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding. It will be the first time an American television network is broadcasting a celebrity wedding between two men! So special.
In a recent, exclusive interview with E! Online, Lance gave some insight into what his wedding day will include. He explained, “The whole wedding itself is very classy, you know. We wanted to plan something that could last for 100 years. When we show our grandchildren this amazing tape of our wedding, the best wedding video ever, I want them to be able to look at this and be like ‘Wow, that stood the test of time.’ So we’re using a lot of elements in the wedding that are classy and one of those is definitely our first dance. The song we chose is a song that lasts forever, something that is very special to us.”
“We love each other so much,” Lance told People Magazine about his new husband.
“There’s no one in the world that makes me laugh more than Lance,” Michael told the magazine. “He’s just such an incredible person. I couldn’t imagine waking up next to anybody else.”
